Air Conditioning Systems

Air conditioning systems are applied to control a room's internal conditions above 18°C or so. Below this temperature the term refrigeration is generally applied. Air conditioning systems have two aspects;

  • Close Control the accurate control of both temperature and humidity, such as for main frame computer rooms, quality control areas or test facilities hospital operating theatres etc.

  • Comfort Control where control of temperature alone is important. This is the majority of cases, for offices, shops, surgeries, waiting rooms, mini computer rooms/servers etc.
